Walkway Beautification Project
The Walkway Beautification project last September awarded 90 Beautification certificates to homeowners on the walkways. All awardees were invited to a Margarita Mixer in recognition of their efforts to maintain an attractive walkway presence.
Since the project was completed, we have seen many new improvements to the walkways. Fences have been repaired and rebuilt, numbers have been added to the back fences and gates, and new plantings have been added. This has enhanced the neighborhood significantly.
This year in September we will again walk the walkways and award certificates to all homeowners who have numbers on their back gates or fences, who have fences in good repair and who have attractive and well maintained landscaping.
Jean Panelli has volunteered to host the Margarita Mixer for awardees. The date will be Saturday September 25 from 2 to 5 p.m. Please begin now to “spruce up” your walkway if needed. Our neighborhood is fortunate to have this unique walkway feature in the layout.
